Dark and wild bears are plentiful in Alaska, particularly in British Columbia, west of Alberta, and the Yukon. You're probably going to witness bears on broadened trips in these locales, whether in public stops or along the street. The Alaska bear viewing trips will help you to see the gigantic brown bears of Alaska from close to their natural surroundings.
It is the place where bears have become acclimated to human presence, and/or where local offices allow you to watch bears in short proximity. This page gives essential data, photographs, and videos, from probably the best bear seeing areas in Alaska that I've been by and visited.
Anan Natural Life Observatory, Anan Spring
The Anan Natural Life Observatory is one of the best spots where many Alaskan brown bear tours take visitors for bear sightings. Situated in the Alaskan central area 30 miles south-east of the town (and island) of Wrangell. Bear watching at Anan Brook agrees with the run of pink salmon, and is best between mid-July and mid-August.
This observatory has a covered survey deck useful for bear watching even in a bad climate. , The backwoods Administration staff are available to situate you at the trailhead where float planes and boats land, and at the review deck, however, you're all alone for the short half-mile stroll along the footpath between the two.
There's also a Woods Administration lodge at Anan Cove, and remaining here would be the most ideal way to encounter the site. However, reservations, as you could envision, are rare! This entire stretch of south-east Alaskan coast is generally uninhabited wild, both on the central area and on Etolin, Kuiu, and different islands seaward.
